Within the last-mile delivery operations team at Company, we are experiencing rapid development in both innovation and process standardization.
JODS is the name of Company’s rapidly-expanding, wholly owned last-mile delivery carrier, which currently delivers packages to millions of customers each month in 9 cities around China. The Process Improvement Manager will be at the center of both innovation and process standardization for JODS, literally making history as we redefine the customer experience of receiving a product ordered online. Company is leading Company’s process development around the world, so the impacts of the process work in China will be quickly felt by Company’s customers on multiple continents. Although we do not encourage it, Company’s process innovations are widely copied by other e-commerce companies, so the Process Improvement Manager will be in a position to lead, in effect, a global industry’s practices.
Job Description:
Innovate on, improve, and standardize the processes of Joyo Company’s in-house parcel delivery operation, JODS. Improvement comes from measurably increased customer satisfaction, increased safety, lowered process variation, and lowered costs.
Inspire Lean thinking and train Lean methodology.
Implement and track metrics that demonstrate progress.
Although the job description is simple, practitioners of process improvement will recognize that the impact will be profound.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or higher, major in operations management, engineering, mathematics or sciences.
Five years or above experience in operations, production, or process engineering
Proven success implementing change through Lean or Six Sigma techniques
English and Chinese writing and conversation skills

Persuade a wide variety of audiences
Analyze and solve problems, occasionally with creative or out-of-the-box methods
Bias toward quick action
Cross-functional or company-wide perspective
