Main Purpose Of The Job |
-- Report, information exchange and advise with respect to all legal matters related to all MB SIM China activities

Key Responsibility/ Task |
Legal consultation Mission (70% ) |
-- Legal advice, preparation & review of legally binding docmuments for company. |
-- Legal advice on day-to-day requests from business units |
-- Coordinate outside legal counsel to handle above matters which can not be covered by in-house-capacity |
-- Job includes but not limited to: (a) the reviewing, drafting, negotiationg and closing agreements for business operation; (b) the localization of standard form agreements; (c) interface with local functional departments and executive management team. |
-- Supervision and coordination of mandatory approval procedures with local and central authorities concerning MB SIM statutory matters. |
-- Handling of corporate matters and documents relating to MBtech and its entities. |
-- Assisting the legal implementation of MBtech projects in China in close coordination with the other functional departments and the legal department in headoffice. |
-- - Develop and implement cooperation standards between legal departments in Stuttgart and China |

Compliance Manager Mission (30%) |
-- Taking the role of Local Compliance Manager in entity for all compliance matters, this includes ensuring: |
-- Implementation and maintenance of clear standards of business and ethical conduct consistent with Daimler corporate standards |
-- Effective entity/ business unit governance structures and procedures for compliance oversight and management |
-- Ongoing, effective communications and training on compliance requirements |
-- Compliance risk assessments, performance monitoring and reporting |
-- Timely, effective and consistent applied issue resolution process |
-- Independent reporting on compliance to Head of Legal & Compliance Asia-Pacific and CCO |
Qualification And Experience |
-- Graduate of Law School in China or overseas, experience in practicing law in China |
-- Bechalor or Master degree in Laws or equivelant |
-- Ideally legal experience (a minimum of 5 years) under local Chinese law and practices |
-- Professional legal experience ( a minimum of 5 years) in international M&A or project work |
-- Legal practice within corportate in house as well as in law firm is required – Legal practice /education oversea would be a plus. |
-- Fluency in speaking, reading and writing English and oversea educational and working experience in legal field. |
