InterChina
InterChina is a boutique management consultancy specialized in strategy, corporate and human resources services for companies doing business in China. Since being founded in 1994, InterChina has grown to 60 professionals, and emerged as one of the leading consultancies in China. InterChina has two operations offices in China, located in Beijing, and Shanghai, supported by liaison offices in Europe, located in Madrid.

Strategy Practice
InterChina has a position open for a Consultant in our Strategy Practice in Shanghai.
The Strategy Practice supports clients develop understanding and insight into their markets; identify entry points and prioritize target markets; design value propositions and route-to-market structures; as well as participate in the initial stages of the rollout. Our team of 20 specialist consultants has conducted in excess of 500 projects, mainly for Western multinationals in the energy & power, automotive, machine tool, chemicals, healthcare and food & beverage sectors. We use ‘homegrown’ methodologies that put the emphasis on primary research, ongoing interaction with the client, and the iterative testing of potential solutions.
Position Description
Consultants work under the guidance of a Project Manager on client projects in teams of 4 to 6 consultants.
The typical responsibilities for Consultants: setting up and conducting interviews with industry players and experts; data processing and data analysis; identifying and interpreting key findings; contributing to the development of strategies and preparation of deliverables.
Consultants are also assigned Performance Coaches. These are senior colleagues who support them over the longer-term in their development as consultants and professionals.
Requirements
Candidates should have the following qualifications and experience:
• Masters Degree or strong and relevant academic record.
• China business experience (>3 years).
• Strong PowerPoint, Word and Excel skills.
• Multilingual (fluent Mandarin and fluent English).
